Pau, born in 1993, currently lives between Bilbao and Ibiza. A member of various projects, he works to develop his voice through the saxophone, improvisation, composition, electronic music, theater, and performance. He currently coordinates educational projects related to music and art with the Taller de Músiques and alternative culture festivals with the Associació Kesti Klab. He also performs his music in the streets with the sole intention of transforming urban spaces and people’s relationships with them.

He studied advanced performance at Musikene, Donostia-San Sebastián, and obtained a master’s degree from DKDM, where he honed his vocal skills in contemporary music and improvisation. He has participated in masterclasses with renowned teachers such as Arno Bornkamp, ​​Jean-Marie Londeix, and members of the Ensemble Intercontemporain and the Ensemble Squillante.

As a saxophonist, he has founded, participated in, and recorded with various projects, including Ether Ensemble, with Nasim López-Palacios Navarro, with Alessandro Ambrosi, in the theatrical production of Pinocchio with the Gorakada company, and with the Afrobeat band Makulu Ken.

He has also performed at the following renowned festivals: 76th Hamabostaldia, 49th and 50th Jazzaldia, and the 4th and 6th Kutxa Chamber Music Series, all in Donostia-San Sebastián. He was a soloist at the Musikagileak ’15 Cycle in Bilbao with the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra (BOS). He also performed at PULSÅR ’16 in Copenhagen, Ibaiertzean ’18 in Pamplona, ​​Aurrera Fest ’20 and ’21 at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao, and the Diacronías Festival ’23 in Madrid. Kaleidoscope ’24, Kenya. Eivissa Clàssica ’24 and Ones de Llum ’24, Ibiza.

He has performed abroad on several occasions, most recently on the Ether Ensemble’s March 2025 tour of the Netherlands, and as a soloist under the baton of Ray Wu at Zhongshan Hall in Taipei in April 2025.

In the summer he plays at events as a DJ, and with PK Afrobeat and Hnos Torres.
